Africa all-time 23 member team

Please also see my All-Time World Cup Team Index.

Zaire 1974

I did all-time teams for Algeria, Ghana, Morocco, South Africa, Cameroon and Nigeria.  The rest of Africa is divided into Northern Africa(including Sudan) and Sub-Saharan Africa.  This is the team for the Sub-African All-time team, excluding Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria and the Northern African countries.

Zaire's poor performance at the WC in 1974 did not leave a good impression for African football.  Since then, it has made progress on the world stage.  AlgeriaMorocco, Cameroon and Nigeria have great WC Finals.
